Dear martians!
Because of enormous server load, caused by major influx of players, coming from odnoklassniki.ru social network, we need to upgrade the server, which costs real money and not cheap at all.
So we have to implement paid bonuses (convert our present system, or add parallel system - not sure yet). Therefore we ask you to post here - what bonuses for what price you think are adequate (and what credits do you mean per 1 USD). Let's make this inevitable thing as easy and fair as possible.

bonus ideas... higher max turns, quicker rate of turn gain, better explore rates, higher tech levels. as far as prices go i have no idea

I think it's a VERY bad idea to increase rate of turn gain, explore rates, tech levels
higher max turns makes complete sense though
basically anything that makes the game easier to play but doesn't give you an unfair advantage (make your country more powerful)

Pay to get rid of the 2b limit on cash, no max missles per land, less readiness loss when attacking.
I would suggest packages maybe geared toward country type.
Farmers can buy higher Agri tech max, better food gains on land, a place to store food with no degradation from turns used. Spies can buy more spy ops max, max spy tech higher, different types of ops such as disable turrets (not destroy) or disable tanks.

Anything that gives a country an advantage over another country is negative in my opinion. If I can pay $ to get more missiles to destroy my enemy for example. Where is the skill (and to some extent the thrill) in that?
Should this question not be posted to all countries in game? I know a lot of players do not read the forum.

All of these create an unfair situation though which will discourage people from playing. I think that's a bad idea

the advantage should only be in game tools not additional in game features like turns. Example- and attack calculator. A diminished returns calc based off the news feed. A tool that determines recent tag changes in the last 24 hours. those kind of tools. would be an incentive.

I'd like to correct this theme a bit. Now we are thinking about way of improving our Mars credit system - internal Mars currency and implementing bonuses like (thoughts are really rough, but just to express what are we thinking about): - increase food production by 25% for, say 72 turns (equivalent of day) or maybe for 24 hours (probly giving opportunity to get more, by accumulating turns) - immediately post goods on market (probly with slight random time added, in order to not make this abuse for pumping NW, just to boost trade) - immediately remove stock from market etc. every bonus in this example costs 1 Mars credit (thinking about keeping 1 MC = 1 USD).
Current subscription system could be enhanced/reworked and also sold by in-game currency, treating subscriptions as pack of tools/some features for period, bonuses above are not expected to be part of subscription.
So, after this comments - what do you think?

Just add extra turn storage and faster turn regeneration, don't mess with the formulas or you'll chase the rest of us out and find in 6 months time you'll have almost noone again.

I know the focus is probably on Alliance and other more popular servers but I'd love to see some bonuses specific to Express to maybe try to increase the player numbers there. Nothing that would give an offensive or Networth advantage but maybe some defensive bonuses to help people have a better chance of surviving the kill teams that won't go away? Some examples - Increase SDI to 99% max but simply by increasing the base tech point to 9% so there is no actual tech involved and thus no NW advantage. Reduce losses incurred during GS, BR and AB attacks by 25%-50%, or maybe lower the cap on Medical tech to 40%-45% or something with the extra added in to the base tech levels as with SDI. Increase civilian regeneration rates slightly to make it easier for stonewalling during an attempted kill. Increase turn regeneration to 2 stored turns returned every minute and maybe increase max stored turns a bit(not sure about that, 500 is plenty as is). These types of bonuses could also be applied on other servers, to a reduced extent perhaps. Kill teams would of course have access to the bonuses as well but it wouldn't aid them in killing anyone but simply make it more of a challenge to deal with them.

Masta's ideas would also greatly aid in the multi-department.
It would mean that cheaters wouldn't have as much of an advantage since they wouldn't have multiple paid accounts (I assume... but maybe there are rich cheaters???)
edit: I am saying his ideas would REDUCE help reduce cheaters, or at least reduce the benefits from cheating (just in case anyone misunderstood what I meant)

Make life time mebership less costly to increase sales. But that is a double edged sword in a sense. How cheap I have no idea. But if there is really as many players as stated, lowring the life time price for your subscrition could be a quick fix for gathering cash for your upgrade. I know I dont have 99 bones laying around for a text game I rarly play. Granted this is just looking at the life time price. But what do I know I flake in and out of this place so much my outlook could be tainted.
