CONSTRUCTION

In order to increase land productivity, you must construct buildings on your free hectares. By improving your lands, you raise your chances of survival and future prosperity.

Building Descriptions
Enterprise Zones. Your country’s revenue depends on the income of your people. Enterprise zones increase the productivity of your people by increasing per capita income.
Residences. People will build housing anywhere they have to, but residence sites are specifically designed to increase the density of your population. As a result, many more people will be able contribute to the success of your country.
Industrial Complexes. Industrial complexes serve only two purposes: building military units, or training spies. While you can purchase military units on the Black or Public Markets, spies must be trained in industrial complexes and cannot be purchased or received as foreign aid.
Military Bases. Military bases allow your forces to become more efficient by lowering maintenance costs, and placing you in a better bargaining position for purchases made on the black market. In turn, you will also receive less for food or military units.
Research Labs. Turns are a limited resource, and researching technology is vital to efficient growth and success. By dedicating land to research labs, you can significantly reduce the number of turns it takes to develop new technologies.
Farms. While every hectare of free land produces a small quantity of food farms are crucial to a new country. While you are developing other types of buildings, farms can provide food and cash to support your people and military.
Oil Rigs. Oil is necessary for any offensive military action excluding missile attacks. Oil can be purchased on the public market or produced by your own oil rigs at the rate of approx. 2 barrels per rig per turn.
Construction Sites. Construction requires time and the number of buildings your can build per turn is determined by how many construction sites you have available. The more construction sites, the more buildings you can erect per turn, and the faster you can develop empty hectares. Construction sites always take one turn each to build, regardless of other factors.
